Our Community

At Boeing Vancouver, we believe it's important to give back to our community both through volunteer acitivites and financial support. Our employees, including senior executives, actively participate in our social responsibility initiatives.

Giving Back

We participate in Boeing’s Global Corporate Citizenship efforts by providing funding to non-profit organizations in the Lower Mainland. We focus on programs geared toward at-risk and disadvantaged youth.

Reducing our company's environmental impact is a priority for us. We compost all our kitchen waste (we’re part of the Growing City compost program) and recycle everything from milk cartons to outdated laptops and network cabling. We also offer a telecommuting option so employees can reduce their commute and their carbon emissions by working at home one to two days a week.

Cycling to Work

Employees are encouraged to bicycle to work, and, while we can't do the pedalling for them, we make it easier by providing indoor bicycle racks. We also sponsor barbeque lunches for everyone who participates in the semi-annual Bike-to-Work Week.

Free Shuttle Bus to the Skytrain

Taking the Skytrain to work is an easy option with a free employee-only shuttle bus that operates between Boeing Vancouver and Richmond’s Bridgeport Canada Line station.
